A meeting of two halves, joined by a brick link. An airy and light-filled extension with a focus on the verdant garden and borrowed vegetation further afield.

A thoughtfully designed timber framed and steel hybrid structure by Phil Stesjkal Architecture sits comfortable in it’s suburban context. Assemble assisted in both the renovation of the existing house in part and the triumphant extension to the rear. The house included a soaring double height external courtyard and secret roof terrace with city glimpses.

The project’s interiors created many beautiful moments which are matched by the surprising spatial volumes evident throughout the home. One of our favourites.
